Billie Eilish planned to perform at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit as part of her Where Do We Go? World Tour in 2020, but the pandemic had some other plans. Finally, the singer returned triumphantly to Detroit for a sold-out stop on her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour. During that stop, Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, received a warm welcome from Eminem.
Marshall Mathers greeted Billie Eilish and her brother, who arrived in Detroit to play their postponed show, with some food from his eatery. The show was part of Eilish’s ongoing “Happier Than Ever” World Tour, and it took place two years to the day after her scheduled March 23rd, 2020 concert at Little Caesars Arena was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bille Eilish chose not to use flashy production or an army of backup dancers. In front of a massive video wall, it was just her, her brother Finneas O’Connell, and drummer Andrew Marshall.
Finneas later took to Instagram to post a photo on his story of an iconic Mom’s Spaghetti box that Marshall sent to young stars to greet them in Detroit. Em’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant is just across Little Caesars Arena.
Eminem has broken the record for the most gold and platinum singles certified by the RIAA. Last week, on March 8, the organization announced that the rapper had earned the most Gold and Platinum certifications in the 64-year history of the award.
