Nicki Minaj & Coi Leray Dropping New Single This Week

Nicki Minaj is one of the most successful artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. Coi Leray, on the other hand, is a rising star who rose to prominence after her single “No More Parties” hit the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Coi recently revealed that she will be releasing a new song with Nicki Minaj this week.

Benzino almost ruined this moment for his daughter, Coi Leray, by prematurely announcing that the New Jersey-based artist’s upcoming debut album would include a feature from Nicki Minaj. The rumors began to circulate about a month ago after Benzino confirmed an upcoming collaboration between the two rappers, but Nicki quickly denied working with Coi on social media.

“I don’t have a collab coming with anyone,” she said at the time. It was clearly not the right time to announce the news to the world. Nicki praised Coi during her interview with Joe Budden last week, referring to the artist’s “trendsetter” status. And now, they’re cementing their friendship with a new song called “Blick Blick,” which will be released in a few days.

“TRENDSETTERS LOADING,” wrote Coi on Instagram, sharing a picture of herself with Nicki from the music video shoot. “My new single ‘Blick Blick’ w| The QUEEN @Nickiminaj drops this FRIDAY 3/18.”
