Bob Saget’s sudden and tragic death had many questioning the circumstances surrounding it. Bob was a healthy man by most accounts. Fans have tried again and again to make sense out of it all.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Incident Report from that day describes the death of Bob Saget in more detail than previously known. TMZ obtained the report, which noted that Saget was perfectly fine when he arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando on the night he passed away. Saget even took a selfie with the valet on his way to his room.
Bob Saget exhibited no outward signs of distress. There was no slurred speech. Bob’s balance seemed fine. There was no cause for alarm from anyone who saw him that day.
Saget walked to his room alone, based on security footage. The door was never unlocked or opened once he was inside. The Full House star was found later that morning.
The going theory, according to the Chief Medical Examiner, is that Saget struck his head on the headboard of his hotel bed. The force necessary to cause his fatal injuries was most likely caused by something hard covered by something soft. Police ruled out almost everything in the room due to most of the furniture having defined, sharp edges.
The headboard appears to be the only object consistent with Bob Saget’s injury. A simple mid-sleep adjustment could have been the cause of Saget’s death. For now, that is the best guess of the officials who investigated the incident.
