Lala Kent hired a PI guy to run checks on people who might enter her life. This came after the terrible ending to her relationship with Randall Emmett. It seems the person she dated recently didn’t quite pass her check.
After calling it quits with ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett for his infidelity, Kent decided to run background checks on potential dates through a private investigator to deal with her trust issues. She isn’t playing around anymore.
The Vanderpump Rules star revealed not too long ago that she went on a date with a guy she described as “built as a Superman.” However, it seems the mystery guy’s results from her PI came back with a big fat thumbs down.
“He was fine, but the PI check didn’t come back so great, so I had to kick him to the curb,” Kent shared on Amazon Live Friday. “[I] haven’t been on a date since. I’ve been talking to people, but no dates. I go on dates with my mom and [my daughter] Ocean. Such a vibe.”
Kent admittedly likes to be informed of debts as she has claimed several time that her ex-fiancé was drowning in it.
“I gotta know before you enter my life. Do we have some [tax] liens? Do we owe some people? I mean, I gotta know,” said on Friday’s livestream. “Do we have a sketchy background? I need to know that.”
After ending her three-year engagement with Emmett last fall, she moved to her own place and raised her daughter Ocean as a single mom. Kent made it pretty clear that she doesn’t want to do anything with Emmett aside from the parenting duties pertaining their daughter. According to Kent, she and her ex only communicate through a third-party app to arrange pickups and drop-offs.
We’ll have to see if she can find love with a flawless background check.
