Lil Durk Reacts To The Backlash After Comment About India Royale’s Body Count

Lil Durk has had quite an eventful week. He released his new album 7220 which is doing amazing on the charts. However, Lil Durk’s comment about his fiance India Royale has made him a target of hate online. Now he has reacted to this backlash.

DJ Akademiks shared a viral tweet on Instagram questioning the backlash over Lil Durk’s remarks. Smurk himself happened to see the post and he went on to comment. “Mannnnnn whattttttt lol,” he wrote while seeming amused.

To defend Durkio, India had to come out herself and voice her thoughts on the backlash. She seemed disturbed by the constant jabs thrown at Durk and therefore she replied in an aggressive manner. “Idgaf what people think about my fiancé, That’s why he mine, get you one.” she tweeted.

This backlash has taken the wind off of Durk’s latest album 7220. The album had amazing initial numbers when it came to sales and also performed incredibly on the billboard. The rapper even apparently received $40 million after the release of the album.

In December, Lil Durk got down on one knee during a performance in his hometown of Chicago and proposed to India Royale. Royale replied “Yes!,” as the crowd erupted in cheers. The couple already has one child together, who was born in 2018.

It was great to see India stand by her man in these circumstances. A comment was blown into such huge proportions and was misunderstood to the point of people harassing Durk. However, this hasn’t affected the release of his new album as it continues to do well.
