Young Dolph was taken far too soon and he had so much more to offer the rap world. The popular Memphis drill rapper was the self-declared King of his own city, but now we know how much punishment he took in his violent end.
The reports of an autopsy performed by The West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center revealed that the 36-year old was killed after being shot twenty-two times on November 17, 2021. This took place while Dolph was at a cookie shop, just days before Thanksgiving.
Several people who were associated with the murder have been charged and arrested. On March 15th, it was revealed that Young Dolph was shot while he was at Makeda Cookies, picking up baked stuff for his mother. After the autopsy, it was revealed that Dolph was shot mercilessly in his back, arms, chest, and abdomen,
Justin Johnson, Cornelius Smith, and Sundale Barnett were named suspects in this case. Johnson and Smith have been charged with first-degree murder and Barnett has been charged with being an accessory to murder, who tried to help Johnson get away from the crime scene.
Two other people, Devin Burns and Joshua Taylor have been named as persons of interest in the murder of young Dolph.
Dolph famously survived 100 shots at him once upon a time, but 22 got him tht day. A few weeks after Dolph’s murder, his Paper Route Empire team released a tribute album that included songs from Snupe Bandz, Key Glock, and others who were on the label.
We send our deepest condolences to his family at this hard time.
