Kevin Hart Sent Uplifting Message To Traci Braxton Before Her Passing

Traci Braxton wished to keep her bout with cancer private. However, when Kevin Hart came to know that Braxton is a huge fan of his and is currently fighting the battle with cancer, Hart sent Traci a touching and uplifting video.

The video was shared by Traci’s famous sister, Toni Braxton on her Instagram. In the said video Hart can be seen addressing Traci and tells her that he didn’t know that she has been longtime fan of his.

“I just wanna take the time to give you that love back and tell you that you are loved in return for the love that you have given,” Hart said. “And I wanna tell you that my prayers are with you. I wanna tell you to be strong. I wanna tell you to stay positive.”

Ending his message, Hart told Traci that he is praying for her speedy recovery and  “more importantly, my heart is smiling because of you.” Toni captioned her post to further explain this situation.

“A lot of people didn’t know about Traci’s illness b/c she preferred to keep it private, however special thanks to @kevinhart4real for taking the time to send her love and well wishes… you were her favorite. We really appreciate you.”

Traci Braxton passed away on Saturday at the age of 50 after a battle with esophageal cancer. A representative of the late singer told ET that she was surrounded with friends and family at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Surratt and son, Kevin Surratt Jr.
