50 Cent Laughs At Jussie Smollett’s Weak Jail Stay For Faking Hate Crime

Jussie Smollett’s official stay in jail is already over after he lied to the police about a fake racist and homophobic crime. On Wednesday night the Empire actor was officially released from the Cook County Jail after spending 6 nights in solitary confinement where he was undergoing psychiatric treatment. That brought a lot of reactions.

The court agreed with Jussie’s lawyers and released him by stating that he should be free as his sentence is pending appeal. This story is very famous and many celebrities have shared their thoughts on this including 50 Cent.

50 Cent wrote on IG, “They let this fool out in less than a week. LOL,” after posting a picture of the actor in court with his fist raised. This was not unexpected as both of them have their own past history.

The court sentenced Smollet to 150 days in Cook County Jail where he served less than a week before being released. Smollett’s family has been incredibly supportive and helpful by asking celebrities to speak on behalf of the Empire star. While the majority of the Hollywood celebrities have kept quiet, Tina Lawson and a few others stood by his side.
