Katy Perry is well-known for her influence on the 2010s pop sound and style. Perry is one of the best-selling artists of all time with over 143 million albums sold worldwide. Katy recently passed another milestone when she earned another huge landmark in 2022, and it’s only March.
Katy Perry has set yet another record with 1 billion on-demand streams. Fans’ reactions to the artist have been mixed. Some fans congratulated her and dubbed her “Queen,” while others were stunned by the news.

Perry has had one of the greatest and quickest falls in modern music history. Finally, Perry suffered from her “Saturday Night Live” performances of “Bon Appétit” and “Swish Swish.” Perry’s infamous and widely mocked “SNL” performance in 2017 was the final nail in the coffin for the “Witness” era.
