Ed Sheeran Had To Tap Out After Getting Toon High With The Game

Ed Sheeran is never shy about sharing stories that make him seem vulnerable or sensitive. It’s the singer’s whole image. Ed is also an incredibly talented songwriter who has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry.

One unexpected collaboration came between the soulful crooner and The Game. Ed is a huge fan of rap music. The unlikely duo decided to smoke some weed to make things easier. It turns out Ed Sheeran couldn’t handle it.

Ed told the hilarious story on a recent appearance on Fitzy & Wippa. Sheeran said it happened around 2013. Ed took just a little puff at the Compton studio. That was enough to put him completely out of his mind.

“I remember I was in the studio once in, like 2013. I was doing some records with The Game and he took me to Compton. And we were in the studio and we probably made like 13, 14 songs. And towards the end of the session his boys come in and they’re sort of like, it starts being a bit of a party.”

Sheeran said he took a tiny puff of “something” and got so high he had to go home. Ed Sheeran tried to fit in. Things didn’t work out. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Ed Sheeran’s latest work was another collab with Taylor Swift. The two are long-time friends and very comfortable sharing space. Things didn’t go that well when Ed Sheeran headed to Compton to hook up with The Game.
