Kodak Black is one of the most polarizing rappers in the music industry, and he is also well-known for his controversial views. Fans must have witnessed Kodak Black remark that Donald Trump’s defeat in the election was the worst thing that could happen to America, and that former President thanked Kodak for his viewpoint. Kodak Black recently met Donald Trump for the first time after getting his pardon.
The rapper visited Trump for the first time since the previous president commuted his sentence in the last hours of his term. Kodak was introduced to Trump at a dinner on Thursday evening at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla during their brief meeting. This interaction later appeared on social media.
“How are you?” Trump asked before fist-bumping Kodak. Ray J, according to Page Six, was in charge of bringing Kodak to the dinner as a guest.
“It was the right thing to do. Trump pardoned him.”
Kodak was also acknowledged for his charity work by former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik during the dinner, which was attended by Senator Lindsey Graham and Rudy Giuliani.
“When a cop is killed in the line of duty, this kid puts up money for his family’s kids to go to college. That’s one of the reasons I supported his clemency. He still does it today. He is a prime example of why presidents should exert their power of clemency. There’s no better example.”
Kodak Black is a supporter of Donald Trump since the former president helped him get his sentence reduced in an arm litigation case. Kodak even ran a Twitter campaign to support Donald Trump. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
