Dana White Says UFC Already Has Had Talks For Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic Fight

Jon Jones is considered one of the best fighters in the history of the UFC for many fans. Since early last year, Jones had made it his life’s mission to go after Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship. Jones has also been on a mission to get paid.

For the past few months, Jon Jones has made it clear that he wants to return to the Octagon this year and even recently revealed that he plans on becoming a champion in 2022.

However, his goals were somewhat ruined after he was arrested last year in Las Vegas. Many fans felt he derailed his own moment and it is not hard to see why they would think so.

While speaking to My Mom’s Basement, UFC President Dana White hinted that the UFC has already had talks for a potential Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic Fight in the future.

“I personally haven’t [spoken with them] but that doesn’t mean that the matchmakers haven’t talked to them and I’m sure they have but you know those are the two guys you’d be looking at.”

Dana White confirmed Jon Jones is nowhere near the UFC Heavyweight Title picture. We will have to wait and see if Jon Jones will end up squaring off against Stipe Miocic or not in the end.
