Tom Brady is arguably one of the greatest football players in the history of the sport. Brady’s time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was always a huge topic of discussion. This is because the quarterback would play at a remarkable rate despite being 44 years old right now.
After a lot of back and forth and ruminating, Tom Brady finally came to a decision of announcing his retirement from professional football. Since then fans wondered what he would do next.
Tom Brady then shocked the world after he called off his retirement and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This came at a huge cost for one particular fan, who spent $500,000 on the last touchdown pass thrown by Brady came out of retirement. Then he came out of retirement, which sent that ball’s value into a downward spiral.
Tom Brady took to his Twitter recently and offered to help out the fan by asking cryptocurrency company FTX if they can donate money to a charity of the fan’s choosing.
“Hey @FTX_Official …could we donate a Bitcoin to the charity of this person’s choice?!
Let’s make it happen, Brady. But what do you say, we give him a #bitcoin too?”
Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, have both purchased an equity stake in FTX back in 2021. This was certainly a good gesture on Tom Brady’s part as many fans would agree. We’ll have to see how long Brady will continue to compete in the sport now that he is back.
