Jake Paul has been seen as the champion for the right of MMA fighters, whom many feel deserve better pay. Jake Paul had previously criticized Dana White for the UFC not paying their fighters properly. Jake Paul has also made another interesting proposal recently.
In the quest for improving the rights of UFC fighters, Jake Paul has gone after Dana White numerous times. This had gone for quite some time now, as fans realized it is unlikely to stop anytime soon.
Jake Paul has heavily criticized Dana White over UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou’s current contract situation in the UFC. He also made a proposal to Dana White in the past that White did not accept.
Jake Paul recently took to Twitter and suggested a $50,000 bonus for the winner of every UFC fight. This took place after the UFC awarded nine ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses at UFC London last week.
“Love seeing fighters get paid. Idea: Commit $50K bonus 4 every winner / $600K per UFC event. 45 events, 12 fights, total payout $27M (2.7% of rev). If winner don’t deserve it / boring fight, spread the $50K to one’s that do on the card. More exciting fights, more pay. Good idea?”
Dana White also made it clear he couldn’t care less about Jake Paul’s insults when it comes to doing business together. We’ll have to see if Dana White will ever end up listening to Jake Paul’s suggestions in the end or not.
