Megan Thee Stallion is currently embroiled in a messy legal battle with her record label. The artist sued 1501 back in February to declare the record fulfilled her contract. Following her lawsuit, the record label countersued Megan. It appears she’s tired of all the drama.
On Monday, Megan took to Twitter to go-off about her ongoing courtroom drama. She called out an unidentified person named, Carl. She wrote, “Carl you got a wholeeee contact with 300 and talking sh*t to me like I got yo f*cking money!” She added, “You are ATTACKING ME ..why? Bc you want to be FAMOUS NOT RICH. Ask KEVIN LILES WHERE YO MONEY AT STUPID.”
In another tweet, Megan responded to 1501’s claims that she owes the record label money. She defended herself by writing, “Also, how can I owe you any of MY money outside of music when your team can’t even provide ACTUAL statements of what I owe.” Megan also claimed in her tweet that the record label hasn’t paid her since 2019.
Megan further said that 1501’s “team signed off on SOMETHING FOR THE HOTTIES to count as an ALBUM now it’s not? Jokes” This isn’t the first time the rapper has on gone on Twitter to slam her record label. Earlier this week, she released a series of fiery tweets explaining the situation.
We’ll have to wait and see how this story unfolds. Meanwhile, 1501 has yet to respond to Megan’s claims. Keep checking Thirsty for updates. You can check out Megan’s tweets below.
