Pusha T Takes Big Shots At McDonald’s In New Diss Track

Pusha T is currently the president of G.O.O.D Music and remains one of the most sought after rappers in the Hip-Hop world. The rapper is also known to drop mean diss tracks whenever he can. The rapper seems to have dropped a diss track at an interesting target as well.

While Pusha T might not be the most commercially viable rapper, he has a penchant for brutally dissing his targets in his diss tracks. When Pusha T released “The Story Of Adidon,” he decimated Drake. The track had revealed that Drake became a father.

Pusha T is now going after McDonald’s. Many years ago, the rapper wrote the iconic “I Love It” jingle without securing publishing rights. This is something he still regrets to this day.

On Monday, Arby’s revealed their latest commercial, which included some bars from Pusha T. The rapper utterly decimated McDonald’s with his diss track as well.

“I’m the reason the whole world love it/ Now I gotta crush it/ Filet-O-Fish is s— and you should be disgusted. A half slice of cheese, Mickey D’s on a budget?”

While speaking to Rolling Stone, Pusha T also explained why he dropped the diss track on McDonald’s. It ended up being because of the ‘I Love It’ jingle.

”I am solely responsible for the ’I’m Lovin‘ It’ swag and the jingle of that company. That’s just real. I am the reason. Now I gotta crush it.

I did it at a very young age at a very young time in my career where I wasn’t asking for as much money and ownership. It’s something that’s always dug at me later in life like, ‘Dammit, I was a part of this and I should have more stake.’ It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother — but that’s peanuts for as long as that’s been running. I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.’”

The new diss track is part of Arby’s latest new campaign for their own fish sandwich. Push T made it personal and that is what matters to him in the end.
