RHOC is well-known for its contentious drama. Shannon Beador first appeared on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Orange County” in season 9 and is now in the show’s 16th season. Shannon Beador recently wore a store-bought dress to the reunion instead of Bones Jones’ original design because it was a “mess.”
It was a colossal fashion blunder. Page Six Style exclusively revealed that the drama of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” reunion began before the taping even began.
According to sources, Shannon Beador commissioned “Project Runway” star Bones Jones, whom she met while working as a model and muse on the reality show, to design her reunion dress, but the outcome was anything but what Beador wanted or expected.
“Shannon really clicked with Bones while they were filming and wanted to support him by wearing a custom dress by him to the reunion. She flew him out to California on her dime, put him up in a nice hotel and took him to dinner. When it came time for him to show her the gown, it was a complete mess.”
According to the source, the dress Bones presented to Beador was a “horrific yellow” that didn’t stretch as she desired and revealed “every wrinkle.” It is also draped across the bodice and gathered at the sides, emphasizing Beador’s midsection.
The dress, which presumably will never see the light of day, featured yellow netting that gave Beador the appearance of being “caught in an avocado bag.”
“It was one of the ugliest reunion dresses. Nothing was finished, the hem was fraying everywhere.”
According to reports, the “House O Bones” designer did little to repair his creation, leaving Beador with “thousands of dollars” but no results. According to the source, production informed the Real for Real founder that her dress was unusable and dispatched a member of the team to her house to retrieve something from her closet while another PA went to a local store to purchase a dress, which she ended up wearing.
Notably, all of the “Housewives” have outfit designer credit on Bravo Insider, whereas Beador only has “styling: Bones” listed beneath her photo. The taping was nearly two hours behind schedule. “Normally production would be annoyed about delays like this, but it was completely out of her control. She was so distraught and felt so bad. It was all on Bones. He dropped the ball.”
According to the source, instead of apologizing, Bones put on one of Beador’s gowns from her personal collection and posed for selfies as if he was “on the runway.”
Shannon must be shocked because she placed so much faith in the dress. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
