$250k Worth Of Stolen Yeezy Merch Found In U-Haul Truck

It was Kanye’s Yeezy brand that shot his net worth to billion dollars. Aside from his music, most of his income comes from his sportswear brand deal with Adidas, that helped grow the reputation of Yeezy. He might have suffered a significant business loss recently.

According to TMZ, Kanye’s Adidas Yeezys have a notorious reputation for being incredibly expensive on the resale market. Fans will pay anything to get their hands on them, which also makes them immensely vulnerable to getting stolen.

A large-scale theft happened happened in Portland, Oregon recently that showed over 1,100 pairs of Yeezys were stolen. This was found out when a U-Haul truck filled with all the sneakers was intercepted by authorities in the said region.

Last night, a Uhaul containing 1100 pairs of new Adidas “Yeezy” shoes was stolen. Dayshift officers located the uhaul, arrested 26 YO Rupert Crosse, and recovered the shoes which are estimated to be worth over $250,000. Great work North Dayshift! Case 22-74652.

The total of these sneakers is a massive amounts of money, we are talking about at least $250K of the entire Uhaul. It is certain that the thief was going to sell these in secondary market way above the sneaker’s market value.

Either way the products are now in a good hands and hopefully the authorities will direct the sneakers the rightful distributers and legitimate consumers soon.
