Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. Brock officially came back as a babyface, much to the delight of fans.
Brock Lesnar made his WWE debut back in 2002 and he was immediately booked as an unstoppable force who ran roughshod over talents in the company. While he found a lot of success, Lesnar would eventually leave WWE in 2004 after WrestleMania 20.
While speaking on the True Geordie Podcast, The Undertaker talked about Brock Lesnar’s initial run in WWE. The Deadman revealed that he advised Lesnar to leave WWE and pursue his dreams.
“I was like, ‘Brock, look, you have do what’s right for you..’ Everyone will be mad that you’ll be leaving and they have put all this money and this push behind you. But if you don’t go do this, you’ll look back one day with the what ifs.’ I don’t know how much influence it had.”
It remains to be seen whether The Beast Incarnate will become the WWE and Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 after defeating Roman Reigns or not.
