Brandy Norwood Sued By Housekeeper For Age Discrimination & Failure To Pay

Brandy Norwood is an amazing vocalist with a distinctive sound that makes many singers envious. Unfortunately, it seems like Brandy has to face multiple lawsuits this year. She is now being sued by her house help for not paying her full wage.

Back in January, the singer was hit with a lawsuit by a jewelry designer over a missing ring. Now, Brandy’s former housekeeper is coming for her money. As reported by TMZ, the singer fired the house help because she was too old, and still owes her for work she completed.

The housekeeper is said to be over 60 years old. She claims she was fired by Brandy’s team in February. According to the court documents, Brandy got rid of the employee because she no longer wanted an “older” housekeeper.

According to the housekeeper, she wasn’t paid for her last 2 days of work. However, she’s suing for back pay and a whole lot more than that. She is after more than $250k in damages.

This is yet another legal headache on Brandy’s plate who is already being sued by her designer for more that 45,000 dollars. The house keeper earned $125 a day at Brandy’s Calabasas home for the past 20 years but get her legally required breaks.

Meanwhile, Brandy’s camp has yet to address the allegations in the lawsuit. We’ll be on the lookout for more updates.
