Soulja Boy Claims TikTok Wouldn’t Exist If It Wasn’t For Him

Soulja Boy is one of the most established rappers of the current hip-hop generation and many fans would agree with this fact. He proclaims himself as one of the all-time greats and his narcissism is essentially infinite. He also made yet another claim recently.

For the past few years, Soulja Boy has made it his life’s mission to let everyone know just how influential he has been to the hip-hop world. While Soulja Boy does hype himself up a lot, there is no denying a lot of what he says.

Soulja Boy has made a lot of claims as being the “first rapper” for a lot of things. So much so, that it has even become a brand for the rapper.

While speaking on the It’s Tricky podcast, Soulja Boy talked about TikTok in general. Soulja Boy bragged by claiming that he created TikTok and that somewhat joked that people who use the app should pay him.

There wouldn’t be no TikTok if it wasn’t for Soulja Boy

TikTok has had huge success, as it has now reached over 1 billion users. Many songs go viral with choreographed dances on the app. The rapper claimed that he started this trend back in 2007 with his hit single “Crank That (Soulja Boy).”

Soulja Boy ended it by saying that he still is a very big fan of the app. The rapper said that his song “She Make It Clap” was only able to reach new heights because of TikTok, such as making its way to no. 1 on Billboard, getting him a record deal and more. Regardless, Soulja Boy will still want to be thanked for what he did and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
