Vanessa Bryant Signs Deal With Nike To Continue Sneaker Collaboration

Vanessa Bryant is a multi-talented woman who has worked as a model, and she is now branching out into the business world. Vanessa is a business strategist who rose to fame after her marriage to Kobe Bryant. Recently, Vanessa Bryant signed a deal with Nike to continue their sneaker collaboration to continue her late-husband’s legacy.

Many fans viewed Kobe Bryant’s footwear empire with Nike in high regard. Following Kobe’s death, Nike temporarily halted production of Kobe sneakers; however, by August 2020, they went back to create vintage hues in preparation for Mamba Day.

As Vanessa and Kobe’s contract with Nike was nearing an end, Vanessa Bryant and the Kobe Estate were eager to secure a new deal with Nike. Vanessa Bryant wanted to be a professional sneakerhead, but she didn’t agree with Nike’s commercial practices. As a result, she chose not to renew her contract with Nike, causing dismay in the sneaker community.

Vanessa and Nike have stayed in negotiation, according to Shams Charania, and they are now agreed to a whole new arrangement that will see both Kobe and Gianna models hit the market.

“Nike is donating 100 percent of net proceeds of Gianna Bryant’s shoes to Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.”
