Dave Chappelle made headlines last month for allegedly halting affordable housing projects in his Ohio neighborhood. The news was not received well by many. L.A. rapper Boosie Badazz has chimed in on the subject recently.
VladTV invited the Baton Rouge rapper to discuss the alleged matters. Boosie went against the popular opinion and came out in support of Chappelle. He defended the veteran comedian, saying he might not want low-income black people in his area as they tend to have criminal tendencies.
“He probably is trying to build a player’s paradise,” said Boosie. “He don’t want all them n-ggas in there. You know how it goes, man? We, as Black people, all of us are not businessmen, man. Some people are just criminals. That’s white, black, everything. He could be building a player’s paradise. For $65 million, I say who the f*ck come in this bitch, and who leaving.”
Back in February, Dave became the subject of discussions when a video surfaced of him attending a village council meeting where he expressed displeasure with the low-income housing plan in Yellow Springs, Ohio. In the clip, he threatened to pull out his business investments in the area.
It seems Boosie knows where Chappelle was coming from to be confidently able to make the statement he made in the video below. After the news of the comedian being instrumental in shutting down the project in his area broke, Chappelle’s spokesperson came out and said he rejected the housing plan because the idea was poor.
