WWE wrestler turned Hollywood star John Cena is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. His run in showbiz is as impressive. He recently applauded a fellow WWE star who is also an A-Lister.

The 16-time world champion has amassed a lot of praise for his role as Peacemaker in HBO Max’s series of the same name. Cena took to Twitter this afternoon to compliment The Miz and wrote he is one of his favorite bad guys in the company. Cena wrote the following tweet along with naming him one of his favorite WrestleMania opponents.

One of my favorite bad guys and #WrestleMania opponents. He reminds everyone all the time! #WWEEvil

A few hours after Cena made his tweet, Miz replied to him and asked, “Hey @JohnCena, remember when I beat you at #WrestleMania?” Cena responded by admiring the hard work Miz has put into his craft and wrote the following tweet.

I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed.

As you may know, Miz defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 27 and retained the WWE Championship. However, he would later lose the title at the Extreme Rules (2011) pay-per-view event to Cena.

The Miz is set to go against Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania along with his partner Logan Paul. WrestleMania 38 will be taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3rd.
