Tory Lanez got himself in some serious trouble after he was accused of beating up “Love & Hip Hop” star, Prince. The rapper found himself doing rounds of courtrooms to defend himself. It appears, Tory has asked the judge to dismiss the case.

Radar Online reported Tory’s claims of innocence. He believes that he did nothing wrong and he justified his claim by saying he acted in self defense. The two men were involved in a violent incident at the LIV Nightclub on Nov. 8, 2019.

Prince, whose real name is Christopher Harty, filed a lawsuit against the Canadian artist in 2020. He alleged in the lawsuit that Tory “verbally antagonized” him and “attempted to engage [Prince] in a verbal confrontation.”

Prince also claimed that the artist’s security detail, on Tory’s command jumped in and assaulted him. He also claimed the altercation caused him  physical, psychological, and mental distress “from blunt force trauma” to his neck, chest, and back.

Prince is seeking unspecified damages. However, Tory’s team claim the altercation was an act of self-defense. According to outlet, Tory has justified his actions by saying that his force was justified.

“A person is justified in using or threatening to use force against another when and to the extent that the person reasonable believes that such conduct is necessary to defend himself or another against the other’s imminent use of unlawful force.”

Tory has a judge to dismiss the lawsuit because they have allegedly reached a settlement agreement. Meanwhile, the Judge has yet to respond with a ruling. Keep a lookout on Thirsty for future updates.
