Mindy Kaling first gained recognition starring as Kelly Kapoor in the NBC sitcom, The Office, for which she also served as a writer, executive producer, and director. She gained wider attention for creating, producing and starring in the Fox comedy series The Mindy Project. Kaling recently flaunted her weight loss in a stunning black gown.
Mindy Kaling is the latest celebrity to flaunt their slimmer figure. The always stunning actress recently posed in a tiny black dress for an Oscars celebration in photos posted to Instagram. Kaling looked lovely in a low-cut black gown with spaghetti straps and a flower on one side by Magda Butrym.
The gown complimented her tiny waist and curves. She simply captioned the photos with five black heart emojis. She completed the ensemble with black Jimmy Choo shoes and a sultry wet-and-wavy look with her hair down with a side part.
“Orange Is the New Black” actress Uzo Aduba commented: “Smoking’ hot. Not hot, @mindykaling . SMOKIN’. HOT. [three fire emojis]
Fashion editor and “Project Runway” judge Nina Garcia chimed in saying: “OBSSESed with the dress. [black heart emoji]”
Kaling’s “The Office” co-star Angela Kinsey was also taken aback, and added: “Excuse me?!! Dang!”
Kaling, together with Priyanka Chopra, Kumail Nanjiani, Riz Ahmed, and others, honored South Asian greatness ahead of the Oscars telecast on Wednesday night. They celebrated South Asian candidates and acknowledging their cultural contributions to the industry. Check out her stunning photo below.
