Remy Ma Doesn’t Consider Doja Cat A Rapper

Remy Ma is a singer-songwriter and actor who rose to prominence as a member of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad. Remy Ma is also known for making controversial remarks. It seems like she recently made some bold claims about Doja Cat.

During an interview on Drink Champs, Remy Ma mentioned Doja Cat and contended that the Planet Her singer isn’t a rapper in the traditional sense. Remy said that she didn’t mean it as an insult and that she still thinks Doja “makes dope records.” The 41-year-old artist discussed her thoughts with hosts N.O.R.E and DJ EFN.

They be putting her in the rapper category. I don’t think she’s a rapper. But, she makes dope records, and I think she’s dope.

Doja has been nominated for many Grammy awards in the rap genre, including Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Need To Know” and Best Rap Song for “Best Friend,” despite the fact that her repertoire contains a substantial amount of pop. Doja has yet to respond to the criticisms, but she has been busy on social media this weekend, claiming that “music is dead” to her.

It is not even a day Doja Cat announced her retirement from music. However, in a new turn of events she might not follow through with that. She recently got on the stage again in Brazil.
