Blue Ivy Carter may have really famous parents but she is not letting her skills get overshadowed or outshined. The Oscars opened with a phenomenal performance by Beyoncé. While Beyoncé’s was nothing but perfect, Blue Ivy also tried to match her mom’s caliber.
The Oscar-nominated singer performed King Richard‘s “Be Alive” that was recorded in Compton, California. The location was where Serena and Venus Williams honed their tennis skills. Queen B’s contribution has earned its own nod for Best Original Song.
Queen Bee was surrounded by a talented group of dancers which included her own daughter – 10-year-old Blue Ivy Carter. The kid stole the show with her stellar dance skills. She is gaining a lot of praise on twitter and other social media for her performance.
“Blue Ivy. Cultural Icon. Dance Captain Extraordinaire. Leader of the eight counts. Keeper of the Bees. Head Carter In Charge. We see you, baby Bey,” one Twitter user praised the young performer’s moves. “BLUE ATE THAT CHOREO DOWN!” another user tweeted.
Dancing so well in a set like Beyonce’s is no child’s play. But then again, Blue Ivy has proved everyone that she has got amazing skills and has amazing things in store for her in the future. Check out her performance below. Go Blue Ivy Carter!
