Jon Jones Calls Out Media For Double Standards On Chael Sonnen Assault Case

Jon Jones was arrested on domestic violence charges as the whole MMA world reacted to his shocking arrest. This surprised many, but not UFC President Dana White. Jon Jones also called out the media for their double standards on Chael Sonne’s assault case.

As a result of his past actions, Jon Jones was banned from using the Jackson Wink MMA gym by coach Mike Winkeljohn. Jon Jones then blamed his recent misdeeds on his past trauma.

Last year, MMA legend Chael Sonnen was detained by local police for an alleged altercation in a hotel in Las Vegas. He was also slapped with 5 citations on assault. Unsurprisingly, Jon Jones decided to rip Chael Sonnen for the controversy.

Jon Jones took to Twitter and called out the media for their double standards. This is because the media extensively covered Jon Jones’ domestic violence case but was silent over Chael Sonnen’s assault case.

“Man everyone and their mom covered my story when I was an a****** in Las Vegas, Sonnen allegedly attacks his wife, another woman along with like five men and crickets”

Jon Jones was also dumped by his fiancee shortly after his arrest as well. With Jones looking to make his MMA return his year, we wonder if that will even be possible now.
