Shannon Sharpe Says He Would Have Whipped Will Smith

Will Smith and Chris Rock created history but it was an ugly one. After Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair, Smith stormed the stage and struck Rock in the face, earning the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Needless to say, it was an exciting night in the entertainment world, with many people on the tip of their seats.

Today’s news is full of heated opinions regarding the incident, with some stating that it was a full-fledged attack that should be denounced. Others, such as Nicki Minaj, are on Smith’s side, claiming that he was merely attempting to protect his wife’s interests.

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless had a quick discussion on the slap heard around the world today on FS1’s Undisputed. Sharpe was quick to declare that if he had been in Chris Rock’s shoes, he would have responded, as you can see in the video below. With that in mind, Sharpe penned that Rock is better man than him.
