The Rock Brings Daughter Jasmine To Hawaii To Celebrate Polynesian Heritage

Dwayne Johnson may not have hair, but he knows how to style an updo to perfection. On a recent Hawaiian vacation, The Rock acted as a hairstylist for his daughter Jasmine, who needed help with her lei.

While visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Great One seemed to take satisfaction in his abilities, tying his daughter’s long hair into a ponytail before assisting in the hanging of the white garland around her neck. The actor commented accompanying an Instagram video of the beautiful moment.

“Train ain’t leaving the station until daddy rocks out a ponytail for Jazzy. Don’t let the bald look fool you, daddy’s pizony tizzails are the shizzit.”

Johnson later uploaded a video of his family’s send-off after their Sunday visit to the cultural centre in a subsequent post. “They are singing us away,” Johnson says in the video. “My heart is full with pride.”

Johnson wrote on his Instagram post:

“Our Polynesian people sang and danced us off as we drove away after a soulful visit to our @polynesianculturalctr here in Hawaii.

If you can’t see their tears in this vid (or ours), you can certainly FEEL them coming thru. That’s our culture. It’s a feeling. A pride. A love. A power. A MANA. We love you guys and proud of all of you for the amazing cultural work you’re doing.”

The Rock has two daughters: Jasmine and her sister Tiana whom he shares with his wife Lauren Hashian, and Simone whom he shares with his ex-wife Dany Garcia. The Rock is dedicated to his duty as a beauty assistant, praising the “calming energy, exceptional hair skills, and extraordinary patience” it takes to brush his daughters’ hair in an Instagram slideshow last year.
