DaBaby Says Will Smith Should Be President After Oscars Slap

DaBaby’s name has been dragged through the mud after making a controversial and homophobic statement at Rolling Loud in Miami last year. DaBaby previously posted a half-hearted apology for his harmful and insensitive remarks as he took to Instagram, but then he would go on to delete the post.

Due to this, he was subject to even more backlash from fans, who simply had no interest in forgiving him. He still didn’t learn his lesson as he called his critics crybabies.

During this year’s Oscars Ceremony, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after he joked about Smith’s wife. This is currently one of the biggest topics of discussion in the world as well.

DaBaby recently took to his Instagram stories and uploaded a video, where he gave his take on the Will Smith controversy. DaBaby said that he believes that there is much “value” to be “taken away from” the Oscars incident. He also joked that Will Smith should be President.

“The main thing is like, you know, it’s just an example of like, how m************ play with you on the internet and you gotta let it slide, it’s the internet.

You gotta let the sh*t slide, there ain’t nothing you can do,” he continued. “But when motherf*ckas see people play with you on the internet, especially if they play with you long enough, it becomes a pattern. Like, playing with you on the internet, it kinda gives some people the confidence and makes them bold enough to feel like they can play with you in person. With everybody, that ain’t the case.”

“That sh*t just really separated internet from real life. You see people play with a n*gga on the internet every day so now you think you can play with a man wife? In front of him, in front of his wife? Right there, while he’s in the same room? It don’t go like that. So, Will Smith for president.”

Thankfully, Will Smith learned the error of his ways and issued a public apology to Chris Rock for his unprofessional actions. We hope Smith will not repeat such an incident again.
