Jada Pinkett Smith Ready To Heal After Will Smith Slapped Chris Rock At Oscars

Jada Pinkett Smith shot a stern look at her husband, Will Smith after Chris Rock made a joke at her expense at the Oscars. At first, Smith was laughing along with everybody else. Once he realized Jada was upset, he made a quick dash to the stage.

Smith slapped Rock in the face and then told him to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth. Will Smith later apologized. Now, Jada Pinkett Smith is ready to do the same.

In a post on Instagram, Jada kept things simple. Smith said it was time to heal, and that she is ready to do so. It sounds like the actress is ready to bury the hatchet and move on after the ugly incident.

“This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

Jada didn’t offer any commentary on the post. It was a simple message. Jada Pinkett Smith is ready to focus on other things.
