Jada Pinkett Smith Said She Didn’t Care About Bald Jokes Just Before The Oscars

Jada Pinkett Smith shot a glare towards her laughing husband, Will Smith, shortly after Chris Rock made a joke about her hair at the Oscars this weekend. Smith went from laughing heartily to storming the stage to confront the comedian in no time. The scene ended with Smith slapping Rock in the face before screaming at him to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.

Jada was upset by the comment. It turns out that she suffers from alopecia. Once Will Smith saw how upset she was, he took matters into his own hands.

Just days before the Oscars, Jada Pinkett Smith was singing a completely different tune. A TikTok post four days before the awards ceremony showed Jada claiming she doesn’t care at all about comments on her hair. Jada said she was comfortable and loves the look.

“Being a black woman and dealing with hair in Hollywood, in the era I came up in, having your hair look as European as possible was always the thing, and that was really challenging because I liked my hair out wild and curly.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s reaction to Chris Rock’s joke about her hair doesn’t line up with her narrative in the TikTok video. There could be something simmering beneath the surface that has nothing to do with her hair. Either way, Will Smith has had plenty to answer about since deciding to assault Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars.
