Jon Jones Admits His Days In Light Heavyweight Division Are Finally Over

Jon Jones is considered one of the best fighters in the history of the UFC by many fans. Since early last year, Jones had made it his life’s mission to go after Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship. Jones has also been on a mission to get paid.

For the past few months, Jon Jones has made it clear that he wants to return to the Octagon this year and even recently revealed that he plans on becoming a champion in 2022.

Jon Jones is arguably the best fighter in UFC’s Light Heavyweight Division. His final fight in the division was against Dominick Reyes. Now it seems Jon Jones admitted something about his career.

Jon Jones took to Twitter and admitted that his final fight was a bad performance. Jones admitted that his time in the UFC’s Light Heavyweight Division is finally over.

“My candle for light heavyweight blew out, it showed in my last fight, instead of being discouraged by a bad performance, I’m stoked about this new season. New energy. My time at LWH was over, I see that more clear today than ever.”

Dana White also previously stated that UFC has already had talks for Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic once Jones returns. We will have to wait and see whether Jon Jones will square off against Miocic or not.
