It will be a great year for Game of Thrones fans, because House of The Dragon finally got a release date. This is a long-awaited spin-off to the popular series.
HBO announced that the House of Dragons series will be released on August 21. Fans were tired of waiting and thought that the wait would last forever. GOT fans have a great thing to look forward to this summer.
The leading actors of the series, Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith both of them playing the role of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Prince Daemon Targaryen respectively. The series is based on George R.R Martin’s book Fire & Blood and the series is set a couple of hundred years before the Game of Thrones.
The first trailer revealed the look of the Game of Thrones prequel was released, and now we have the official launch date along with a poster of a golden egg and some angry eyes watching it. According to Martin, the prequel will be worth the wait.
The author added, “I have seen rough cuts of a few of [the episodes], and I’m loving them, Of course, a lot more work needs to be done. Special effects, color timing, score, all the postproduction work. But the writing, the directing, the acting all look terrific.”
We’ll be lucky if we ever witness the new sequel coming close to what the original show was,
