Kim Kardashian is in the middle of a messy divorce with Kanye West. A Judge recently declared her legally single, but that didn’t mean the end of her custody battle and other legal procedures. In the midst of that, she has made a bold announcement recently.
Kim announced she is rebranding her KKW fragrance line to a new name and a new website. Which is she will basically have to relaunch her renewed brand. She took to Instagram on Friday to make the said announcement.
“On May 1st at midnight, @KKWfragrance will be shutting down the website so that we can relaunch fragrance in the future under a brand new name—and under a new web store where you can purchase from all beauty categories under one site,”
Kim, 41, further explained how the fragrance line is “deeply personal” to her. She talked about the efforts she made to make the brand’s first scent and how proud she is of what her product has become.
“I put my heart and soul into every bottle, and I’m so incredibly proud of every KKW Fragrance product and collaboration that we have launched since Crystal Gardenia in 2017,”
As the reality star looks forward to the new chapter of her brand, she thanked those who have been loyal to her fragrance line. She assured her fans that the rebranding of the brand wouldn’t take much longer.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty and love these last few years,” she wrote. “I cannot wait to introduce you to the next chapter of my fragrance journey—I promise I won’t be gone for too long.”
Kim closed her post by pointing out that the current stock of KKW fragrance on the brand website will be sold at 40% off until it sells out. She closed the post by writing, “With Love Always, Kim.”
The “W” in the original name of the brand stands for the last name of Kanye and now that she is divorcing him, she has filed for rebranding. Although, according to her, renaming has nothing to do with Ye. We’ll see what becomes of it as time passes.
