WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has done it all as far as being a pro wrestler is concerned. His in-ring genius helped inspire generations of pro wrestlers over the years as well. He also thinks very highly of Amanda Nunes.
In Ronda Rousey’s debut match in WWE, she teamed up with Kurt Angle and faced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34. Rousey would pick up the win for her team.
Kurt Angle has made it clear on various occasions that he was impressed with how quickly Rouse transitioned to WWE. While speaking to The Schmo, Kurt Angle stated that he believes Amanda Nunes could successfully transition to WWE.
“Seeing Ronda Rousey do it, I’d say Amanda Nunes [could successfully transition to WWE]… Ronda Rousey’s the pioneer, okay, she started, she made it popular [and] if it wasn’t for Ronda Rousey, there wouldn’t be an Amanda Nunes.”
Amanda Nunes decimated Ronda Rousey in the main event of UFC 207 back in 2016. It would turn out to be Rousey’s last UFC fight. Nunes went on to become the first female two-division champion in UFC history. We’ll have to see if Nunes will ever decide to join WWE as well in the future.
