Alan Carr is newly single and back in the dating scene after confirming split with husband, Paul Drayton. It appears, David Gandy may become his personal matchmaker.
The 45-year old comic was interviewing David when he enquired whether the star had any male model pals “down on their luck” and interested in wooing him. Alan’s return to the dating game after he split from Paul in January of this year.
The couple spent 13 years together while being married for three years. Meanwhile, talking to David for his Life’s A Beach podcast, Alan couldn’t resist asking for help from David. He said on the podcast, “While you’re here, I’m going to be single very soon, have you got any male model friends who are down on their luck and chubby chasers?”
The dad-of-two chuckled and said, “I’m sure I could work something out.” However, with Alan’s hilarious personality it’d be safe to say he won’t need David’s help to get dates.
Meanwhile, Alan and soon-to-be ex-husband Paul announced they have made the decision to split “jointly and amicably” via a joint stated in January this year. A spokesperson for the former couple said: “They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.”
