Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Did Not Have A Prenup Before Getting Married

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker surprised fans when news broke that the couple was married earlier this week. Kourtney and Travis flew to Vegas, where an Elvis impersonator served as their wedding officiant. The plan may have been hastily thrown together.

TMZ has reported that Kourtney and Travis tied the knot without signing a prenuptial agreement. With wealthy celebrities, these agreements usually offer both parties protection against financial loss should the marriage fall apart. Kourtney and Travis were in a hurry, so the financial details will be ironed out later.

Sources said that the couple had been working on a prenup before getting married in Vegas. Nothing has been signed yet. The plan will now be for the pair to work out a postnuptial agreement, which would effectively serve the same purpose.

Kourtney Kardashian is reported to be worth roughly $65 million. Travis isn’t far behind. The Blink 182 star is said to have a fortune totaling around $50 million.

There is a lot of money at stake should things go wrong. The spur-of-the-moment wedding doesn’t mean that the couple is leaving their future finances to fate. They’ve decided to just worry about it later.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are likely to separate their future earnings. Whatever they make after getting married would be kept apart. The couple is still celebrating, but there should be a plan in place sooner or later.
