Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes confirmed their breakup in November last year. This certainly devastated fans as they were really invested in their relationship. Shawn Mendez also doesn’t rule out doing a collaboration with Camila Cabello by the looks of it.
The two ultimately broke up as they had different priorities and changed as people as well. Camila even mentioned previously how anxiety got in the way of their relationship as well.
While speaking during On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, Shawn Mendes made it clear that he is open to doing a collab with his ex Camila Cabello in the future. Mendes admitted that he still loves her as well.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. I wouldn’t put it past us. I’ve loved Camila for so many years, and that’s never going to change.
Shawn Mendes’ comment comes after his song “When You’re Gone” seemingly indicated that he was trying to “hold on” to Camila after they split up back in November of last year.
“I know what we’re supposed to do, it’s so hard for me to let go of you, so I’m just tryna hold on,” Shawn sings in the music video for the tune, which was released on March 31. “Hold on, I don’t wanna know what it’s like when you’re gone. I don’t wanna move on.”
Shawn Mendes also revealed that he hates the loneliness after his split up from Camila. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Shawn Mendes and if he will collaborate with Camila Cabello in the future or not.
