During WrestleMania 38, several names from the past were present backstage for the big event and a pre-show party. However, John Cena didn’t get to attend the event.

According to PW Insider, The reason why Cena was not present at WrestleMania was because he is currently in New Mexico filming Coyote vs. ACME. In the movie Cena will play Coyote’s former boss at ACME.

The film follows “a down-on-his-luck (human) attorney who takes on Wile E. Coyote as a client in his suit against ACME over its defective products, only to discover that his boss at his former law firm is representing ACME.”

The film is being directed by Dave Green from a script by Samy Burch. It also casts Will Forte and Lana Condor. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
