YNW Melly has been incarcerated in prison for almost three years. His arrest came in 2018, and he was arrested in Florida for accusations that were all related to murder. He awaited his murder trial for a long time, but the wait ends on March 7th when the trial finally starts off.
The precarious state of the rapper’s case as well as his lengthy incarceration is bound to have effects on those around him. While his mother. Jamie Demons-King, recently said that the rapper could be back home “if a jury is picked fast,” the rapper accused his mother of lying about the situation.
Melly even went as far as to say that King “be lying, my mama got anxiety issues. My mama be tripping, complaining and lying. She’s been lying for some time now.” However, his mother acknowledged the allegation and fired back with her own comments.
Jamie King elaborated that being a single mom, she has her set of issues, and most days she ends up crying and skipping on food. She also talked about being sad about seeing her son struggle with the case and then proved her side of things by saying that she makes sure her son “keeps money on his books and he is good.”
King’s response was in regards to how his mother spoke out about his brother. He praised his brother and said that he is the one who takes care of the money and business in his absence.
