Avril Lavigne Sparks Engagement Rumors After Wearing A Massive Diamond Ring

Avril Lavigne was on a break from men until she met her current boyfriend Mod Sun. Their chemistry was picked up by the fan after they have collaborated on a single. Avril and her boyfriend Mod Sun finally may officially be taking things to the next level.

Avril was seen wearing what appears to be an engagement ring. The “Girlfriend” singer was spotted, Tuesday, arriving at a studio in Los Angeles. She was rocking a massive diamond ring on THAT finger.

Interestingly enough, she wasn’t wearing the ring when she hit the Grammy’s red carpet over the weekend. So the theory is, if the engagement did happen, it was very recent. Either that, or else she just didn’t want it to be known at the award show.

Of course, if legit, it would mean she and long-time bf Mod Sun have a wedding to plan. Their relationship grew over the last year or so, and they both seemed super happy. As you may know, the couple wrote the single “Flames” and appeared in the music video together, back in January 2021, and have been posting and showcasing their love since.

When she was asked about working with her partner on the record, Avril said, “We met in the studio and I performed on his record with him on a song called Flames and then we ended up co-writing my entire album together and he co-produced it as well.” She revealed that after sparks flew during their songwriting session, the pair began dating immediately. “I just followed my heart” she said.

The two officially made their debut on the red carpet for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. Mod Sun even got Avril’s name tattooed on his neck, so obviously, things are serious. If this is at all true, then we just have to see when the couple decides to officially reveals the news or are they planning to surprise everyone directly with their marriage ceremony.
