Chris Rock Unlikely To Forgive Will Smith After Oscars Slap

During the Oscars Award ceremony this year, the world was shocked after Will Smith brutally slapped Chris Rock following a joke about Smith’s wife. This led to a lot of backlash against Will Smith as well. Rock is also unlikely to forgive Will Smith anytime soon.

Chris Rock also recently told his sold-out audience in Boston that he is “still kind of processing what happened.” Due to this, he will address the incident later. Since then fans have been wondering when the comedian will talk about the incident in detail.

After the incident, Will Smith issued a public apology to Chris Rock and clearly felt remorseful for his actions. While many were glad Smith apologized, others did not feel the same way.

According to Hollywood Life, it was said that Chris Rock doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to accept the Independence Day star’s apology.

“He can’t imagine forgiving Will, being friends with him. It is just a very weird thing to fully envelope. Chris Rock doesn’t want the Will Smith slap to define him and the rest of his career. It sucks that it is now part of his life forever.

He doesn’t know when he will talk about it, he knows he will have to at some point, but he literally is focusing on his tour and for the dust to fully settle. It is still raw, emotional, and confusing to deal with and wrap his head around.”

Jada Pinkett Smith also said that she wished Will Smith did not end up slapping Chris Rock. Will Smith has learned from his lesson but it is likely he will continue to face the consequences of his actions as well.
