Floyd Mayweather is one of the most successful boxers in the game. The undefeated fighter sent thunders down the hearts of his opponents whenever he took the boxing ring. It seems he ain’t done just yet and is planning a big return.
TMZ reports, Floyd is returning to the ring in May for an exhibition boxing match on a literal heli-pad in Dubai. The 45-year old will go toe-to-toe with “Dangerous” Don Moore, who has a record of 18-0-1 with 12 KOs. The exhibition match will consist of 8 rounds and will take place on May 14th.
The event is being called “The Global Titans Fight Series” and FM’s holding down the inaugural card. However, Floyd is not the only “Titan” on the list. The list includes the likes of Anderson Silva, who previously boxed pro fighter Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June 2021.
At the event, Silva will take on Bazillion star, Bruno Machado. Additionally, former boxing champion Badou Jack, who has record of 25-3-3 with 15KOs, is also on the card. Fans are certainly excited to see the legends of the game take on each other.
Meanwhile, the location of the boxing matches is just as awesome. The fighters will box outside on the Burj Al Arab Hotel, one of UAE’s top hotels. It’ll be the first time Floyd returns to the ring since boxing YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul on June 6. Stay tuned to Thirsty for future updates.
