NBA Twitter Slams Lakers For Missing The Playoffs

The Lakers have been dealing with internal issues for quite some time. Even LeBron James has stated that the team lacks chemistry. He even admitted recently that the Los Angeles Clippers are better than the Los Angeles Lakers this season. After missing the playoffs, the Lakers were slammed into oblivion last night.

The Los Angeles Lakers needed to win last night to keep their playoff hopes alive. They’d have to hope that the San Antonio Spurs lose to the Denver Nuggets if they lost. In the end, the Lakers had to deal with the worst-case scenarios. The Spurs cruised to victory, while the Lakers fell to the Phoenix Suns. For the second time in LeBron’s tenure with the team, the Lakers will miss the playoffs.

Fans couldn’t believe how bad the Lakers were this year, especially given the presence of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook on the roster. It was a truly embarrassing performance, and as the “One Shining Moment” video shows, there were plenty of blunders and gaffes along the way.

There is a large contingent on NBA Twitter who despises the Lakers, so you can imagine how quickly they slandered LeBron’s purple and gold. Many people praised the Lakers in the tweets below, while others lamented how much of a disappointment this team was.

All of these comments are fairly accurate, as there is no excuse for missing the playoffs with this much talent on the roster.
