James Jackson was one of the three suspects accused in connection with shooting of Lady Gaga’s dog-walker Ryan Fischer. Fischer recently gave a chilling testimony in the case. Apparently, the suspect James Jackson was mistakenly released from jail.
According to TMZ, the 19-year-old boy arrested over the shooting of Lady Gaga’s dog-walker last year was released from jail in California earlier this week. The authorities said it was by mistake. The Sheriff’s department says Jackson was the beneficiary of a clerical error.
Jackson was mistakenly freed following an appearance in court on Wednesday. The charges against Jackson appeared to have been dismissed. However, with plans to replace them with a superseding grand jury indictment unsealed at the hearing in Los Angeles.
The L.A. Sheriff’s Department is investigating how such a blunder could occur. The LASD Major Crimes Bureau is now trying to find Jackson. They’re asking anyone with info to contact the Sheriff’s Dept.
Jackson is the alleged shooter in the incident and is also accused of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and of carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle whilst being a felon. In the incident Ryan suffered a collapsed lung and serious mobility issues. He is still enduring the physical and emotional aftereffects of the shooting.
Gaga offered a $500,000 reward for the dogs’ safe return. However, an allegation was raised that she hasn’t yet paid the money to a person who returned the snatched pets.
