Dana White Thinks Colby Covington Should’ve Been Ready For Jorge Masvidal After Bringing Up His Family

Jorge Masvidal has worked hard to make a name for himself in the world of MMA. He is also known for riling up people with his comments. Dana White also commented on Masvidal’s recent controversy.

The rivalry between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal is something many MMA fans know well by now. The two were once close friends and trained together at the same place. However, they eventually started hating each other.

Last month, Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington were involved in a fight at a Miami club. It was said that Covington suffered fractured teeth and abrasions on his wrist. As previously reported, Masvidal was arrested on aggravated assault charges

While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts on Covington and Masvidal’s situation. White stated that Covington should have been ready for Masvidal after bringing up his family.

“When you’re dealing with a guy like Jorge Masvidal, and you start talking about his family? All these fighters … say what you want to say about me, you hate me, you think I’m ugly, I’m stupid, whatever. But when you start talking about people’s families, it goes to a whole other level, man. You talk about people’s families and you’re walking out of a restaurant, you better be ready for a guy like Jorge Masvidal to run up on you. Is anyone shocked? He talked s**t about his kids and his wife, you think that he’s not going to do that? Of course he’s going to do that.”

Jorge Masvidal also pleaded not guilty to his aggravated assault charges after attacking Colby Covington. It is unlikely the drama between the two will end anytime soon by the looks of it.
