Drake is widely known to be a huge proponent of gambling. One emerging Houston rapper was offered a bet with an opportunity to win a chance of a lifetime. Drake told Mosa that if he could beat him in an arcade basketball shootout, he’d feature him on an upcoming track.
Mosa has been trying for over a year to get a feature with Drizzy. The two met in 2021, but the collab hasn’t happened just yet. Drake recently offered Mosa the wager.
Drake knocked down several shots during his session, which took place on April 5. Mosa was surprised at Drake’s touch. It should not be shocking. Drake is a massive hoops fanatic.
“@champagnepapi said if I win I can get that feature. That boy turned to Steph Curry he’s really a shooter.”
Mosa didn’t get the job done in basketball. Drake’s pinpoint accuracy tilted the bet in the Toronto native’s favor. Mosa said one day, he will earn that coveted feature spot.
Until then, Drake will be promoting his various interests in gambling, cryptocurrency, and music. If Mosa has to pick someone to look up to in the business, he certainly could have done worse. Time will tell if Mosa and Drake ever do collaborate on a song.
